Drinking tea has always been my thing whether in winter or summer you’ll find me sipping tea because I find it normal starting my day with a mug of tea. Coffee is a bit too strong for my stomach though it has similar content as tea but the difference between them is that tea leaves are more diluted than coffee beans. The ingredients of tea leaves contains active and powerful nervous stimulants like Caffeine,Theophylline and Theobromine

These 3 characteristics stimulates cardiac muscle, the respiratory system, and gastric secretion but also this features are genuinely useful for beauty treatments, domestic and general hygiene. It may seem normal to throw tea bags away after first use but I want to share some beauty hacks that I find clever and is worth trying.

- NATURAL LACE WIG DYE
This is a very useful and easy tip to do when you can’t get hold of any dye, just take a black tea brew it and soak your lace wig frontals or closures for 30 mins and it will dye it into a natural scalp colour.
2. ENHANCE HAIR COLOUR
The summer sun is harsh for blonde hair and to keep it radiant wash your hair with chamomile after co washing, repeat this every 3 weeks and you’ll thank a Russian grandma for letting their homemade secret slip.
3. REDUCE WRINKLES AND CROW FEET
Green tea Face mask has been an old recipe in the beauty hacks and it has helped a lot of ladies reduce age flaws. Just mix a used green tea bag leave with honey, apply it on the face leaving the parameter of your eyebrows-eyes-mouth free and let it sit for 30 minutes then wash off with lukewarm water. This will help reduce those wrinkles, blackheads and crow lines (laugh line) consistent use will give better result.
4. TREAT PUFFY EYE BAGS
If you want to treat puffy baggie eyes from allergies or rough weepy nights then you’ll need to consider storing two used tea bag in the refrigerator. Drain the water from it, rap it with a foil paper and keep it in the refrigerator for about an hour, take it out and place them on your eyelids and then relax yourself.
5. BLOATED STOMACH
You feel like you’ve over fed and your dress don’t fit anymore? Don’t worry just make yourself a chamomile tea and squeeze a lime juice into it, brew a second cup and reuse the first tea bag, the result of the reused bag might not be the same but it surely adds up to the taste of the second mug. This will help reduce bloat.
6. SOOTHE FEET
Have you been walking all day and your feet hurts? Pour a boiled water 37° into a pedicure bowl and throw in a used chamomile tea bag, coarse salt, white vinegar, let your feet stay in for 45 minutes, scrub it with a foot scrub and say “Ciao” to dead skin. This will not only revive you but also kill feet fungi some bloggers also say used peppermint tea bag can do your feet good.
7. SKIN CARE
If your body aches you can also use chamomile tea bags or thyme to soothe your skin by adding 3 used tea bags in a bath soaking yourself in the warm bath. You can also use it as a body exfoliant to smoothen and make your skin glow.
